On Tuesday, Mohaniya's bail plea was dismissed by the Saket court and he was remanded in judicial custody till July 11.

In his bail plea, Mohaniya said that he is a sitting legislator and has a family to take care of. He also assured the court that he would not flee from justice.

Mohaniya added that he has been falsely implicated in the case.

Delhi Police booked the AAP's Delhi leader on charges of misbehaviour, manhandling and touching a woman inappropriately.

Mohaniya was arrested on Saturday following a complaint filed by a woman who visited his office-cum-residence with others to complain about irregular water supply.

The Delhi Police arrested the Sangam Vihar MLA on June 25 while he addressing a press conference.
