New Delhi: Continuing its tirade against Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Wednesday accused the senior BJP leader of interfering and attempting to cover-up the alleged Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) financial bunglings.
Addressing a press conference, AAP leader Ashutosh launched a scathing attack on Jaitley, saying that the BJP leader on 27 October, 2011 wrote to then Delhi Police Commissioner BK Gupta asking for closure of investigation against DDCA office bearers in the Syndicate Bank Cricket Club bungling case.
The AAP leader also presented a second letter, signed by Jaitley, dated 05 May 2011, in which he allegedly asked Special Police Commissioner Ranjit Narayan to immediately stop questioning of the DDCA officials and close the case.
Ashutosh accused the BJP leader of trying to use his political clout to interfere in the ongoing investigation in the DDCA affairs.
The AAP party also posed five questions for the Union Minister and sought his reply.
These 5 questions totally expose Mr. Jaitley and his connection with DDCA Scam. #JaitleyTotallyExposed pic.twitter.com/Mywiisysd6
