BSF plane crash – accident or conspiracy?

BSF plane crash – accident or conspiracy? A crane is used to salvage the remains of a small BSF plane that crashed outside the main airport in New Delhi.

New Delhi: Five minutes after it took off, a small Ranchi-bound Border Security Force (BSF) plane crashed and burst into flames just outside an airport in Dwarka on Tuesday.

All the 10 people on board the plane were killed in the incident.

A report says that a senior pilot was asked not to fly the plane and instead two less experienced pilots - Bhagwati Prasad Bhatt and Rajesh Shivrain - were directed to take the charge just before the flight was scheduled to take off.

What was the reason behind the change in pilot?

Aviation sources said the accident happened at around 9:50 am when the twin-engine Superking plane crashed into the airport boundary wall near a railway track and landed in a sewage treatment plant while returning back apparently due to a technical problem five minutes after it took off for Ranchi.

Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Mahesh Sharma said: "It is a matter of probe what led to the crash. We can only tell after the inquiry what were the reasons or lapses resulted in this incident".
