Delhi constable cremated with state honors

The mortal remains of 35-year-old Delhi police head constable Ram Kumar Meena, who was killed in a courtroom firing, were consigned to flames in his ancestral village at Nanki ka bas near Indergarh village on the outskirts of the city here today.

Jaipur: The mortal remains of 35-year-old Delhi police head constable Ram Kumar Meena, who was killed in a courtroom firing, were consigned to flames in his ancestral village at Nanki ka bas near Indergarh village on the outskirts of the city here today.

Union Minister of state for Information and Broadcasting Rajyavardhan Rathore paid floral tributes to the constable.

Meena was killed on Wednesday in a firing inside the courtroom of Karkardooma district court in Delhi. He is survived by his wife Priya Meena, a 7-year-old son and a 4-year-old daughter.
