The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief, who has been demanding for Jaitley's resignation over alleged DDCA scam, today tweeted: “If I were in place of Sh Narendra Modi ji, I wud have immediately sacked Jaitley ji.”

Earlier, the Delhi CM attacked the Prime Minister the CBI raid on his office saying that the entire exercise was done to erase proofs of alleged DDCA scam and save the senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader.

Addressing the Delhi Assembly, Kejriwal said, "PM Narendra Modi on December 15 got "conducted" CBI raids solely to "protect" Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the affairs of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA)."

The AAP chief also asked for PM Modi's resignation for the fraudulent CBI raid.

Jaitley has denied the corruption charges levelled against him by BJP MP Kirti Azad as well as the Congress and the AAP. Jaitley headed the DDCA for 13 years till 2013.

Azad, a Lok Sabha member from Bihar, on Sunday alleged massive corruption in the DDCA. He said he had done no wrong by raising an issue involving Jaitley.
