New Delhi: A heated discussion broke out between a Kashmiri passenger and an Army jawan on the New Delhi-Ranchi Garib Rath Express over the unrest in Jammu and Kashmir. But this went too far!
32-year-old MS Baig, a Kashmiri passenger, was travelling from New Delhi to Uttar Pradesh in coach G-14 of Garibrath Express. There was an unidentified passenger from Jharkhand In the same coach.
During the discussion, Baig reportedly said, “The Indian Armed Forces will be driven away from Kashmir by Pakistani forces like dogs.”
Angrily reacting to his comment, the passenger from Jharkhand hurled abuses and assaulted him. He slapped Baig after he abused the Indian Army.
Other fellow passengers in the coach also joined him.
Another passenger named Jagmohan Singh said, “We were in the next couch when we heard heated arguments.
“The victim was heard saying that the Indian Army will be driven away from Kashmir by Pakistani forces like dogs.
“He was also reportedly saying northern India will be in trouble if Kashmir stops providing water.”
So far, no one has lodged a formal complaint with Railway Police officials.
