New Delhi: Despite being on hunger strike, BJP MP Maheish Girri on Tuesday participated in the International Day of Yoga celebrations by performing yoga outside the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, where he has been protesting since Sunday evening.
The BJP MP from East Delhi sat on a protest against Kejriwal after the AAP leader did not take up his challenge of "open debate" over his allegations concerning murder of NDMC official MM Khan.
Khan's daughter had on Monday urged the BJP' Lok Sabha member to end his hunger strike against Kejriwal and not to politicise the issue of her father's death.

Union Minister Harsh Vardhan, BJP`s Delhi unit President Satish Upadhyay and several other leaders joined the hunger strike led by Girri.
Kejriwal has, meanwhile, urged the Delhi Police, which does not report to him, to probe the relationship between Girri and hotelier Ramesh Kakkar, the main accused in the murder of NDMC's legal adviser MM Khan in mid-May.
The Aam Aadmi Party leader has accused the central government of shielding Girri.
Also on Tuesday, hundreds of thousands across the country began the day with yoga exercises.
