In a remarkable video that has recently surfaced over various social media networks, over 70 tiger sharks can be seen ripping apart a dead humpback whale in the clear waters of Shark Bay, on the Western Australia coastline.

The video is actually a drone footage that was captured by Eco Abrolhos, an island tour company. Two boats full of tourists witnessed the entire scene first hand, as the hungry sharks swarmed around the dead whale and literally tore apart huge chunks of it, before swimming away, leaving a trail of blood behind them.

It is, however, unknown whether the death of the whale was caused by sharks or natural reasons.

Sharks are, otherwise, known for their fatal attacks on humans and have a massive reputation for eating anything and everything, especially preying on whales.
