New Delhi: It was a warm and cloudy Sunday morning here with the minimum temperature recorded at 29.8 degrees Celsius, eight notches above the season's average, the Met office said.
"The sky will remain partly cloudy throughout the day. Dust storm or thunderstorm is likely to occur during evening/night," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
According to the weather office, the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 40 degrees Celsius.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 28 percent, the official said.
Saturday's maximum temperature settled at 42 degrees Celsius, five notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.
