New Delhi: Delhi University's Bhagini Nivedita College has constituted a Fact-Finding Committee (FFC) to investigate complaints of alleged financial and administrative irregularities against its principal Purbi Saikia.
"The decision to constitute the FFC was taken by college's Governing Body (GB) in a meeting last week following series of allegations against the principal," a GB member said.
"The allegations against the principal include that of violation of rules in appointments, manipulating the minutes of GB meetings, halting the administrative proceedings, not communicating the decisions taken at college to the university and financial irregularities among others," the member added.
The Delhi University Teachers Association (DUTA) will also be staging a protest tomorrow demanding action against her.
Meanwhile, calls and text messages to Saikia for her response to the allegations, went unanswered.
