Jaipur: This Rajasthani man's tireless persistence to clear the Class 10 board exams has come for praise, after all he will take the exam for the 47th time this year. We all wish him luck and hope he clears the exam this time!
Shiv Charan Yadav, 77, who hails from Rajasthan's Khohari village in Alwar district, has already sat in the exam for the 46th time.
Yadav, who never got married for “his tryst with destiny”, has become an example of grit and determination for the local community.
He told TOI that he is not among those who would accept failure. Yadav has full of confidence that he would clear the exam this time.
Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will conduct the exam on March 10.
Yadav first appeared for the exam in 1968, but failed. Each time he passes in one subject, but fails in another.
However this year, he hopes to clear all the papers at one go.
He said that last time he came close to clear all the papers was in 1995, when he passed in all the subjects but failed in maths.
