Chandigarh: The Prakash Singh committee, set up by Haryana government to inquire into the acts of "omission and commission" on the part of civil and police officers during the Jat quota agitation, would visit Rohtak, which was the epicentre of the agitation, on Friday.
The Committee would visit the affected areas and interact with the officers of the district.
It would also meet people of different sections of the society and seek information about the role of officers, an official spokesman said on Thursday evening.
He said that on March 04, the Committee would visit the affected areas from 10 am to 1 pm and conduct meeting with officers of both civil and police administration from 3 pm to 5 pm.
On March 05, the Committee would meet people belonging to different sections of society from 9 am to 1 pm and later brief the media from 4 pm to 5 pm, he added.
The Haryana government had set up the committee under the chairmanship of retired IPS officer Prakash Singh.
