Pilgrims from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand started arriving here for the past few days while bulk of them came yesterday to take the holy dip at the Kapal Mochan, Rin Mochan and Surajkund Sarovars and light 'diyaas' on its banks, officials said.

Tight security arrangements were made to ensure that the event passed off smoothly. The devotees started departing at around 2 am, soon after taking the holy dip in the tanks, police said.
