Delhi Police on Saturday organised a blood donation camp in the wake of rising dengue cases in the national capital.
New Delhi: Delhi Police on Saturday organised a blood donation camp in the wake of rising dengue cases in the national capital.
The camp was organised at Adarsh Nagar police station under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Vijay Singh, who along with the assistant commissioner of police for Model Town area, station house officer of Adarsh Nagar and other police officers donated blood, a statement said.
The camp, organised in association with Lions Blood Bank, also saw participation of residents of Adarsh Nagar area.
"Nowadays, the major concern before the administration is the shortage of blood due to the rising dengue cases. Today (Saturday), police officials organised a camp to donate blood for dengue and other needy patients," DCP Vijay Singh said.
