New Delhi: When it comes to breakfast, eggs are a good choice. Yes, it's true that egg yolks have a lot of cholesterol, but eggs also contain a large amount of proteins and other essential nutrients.
However, many of us are not sure whether we can have eggs daily due to their saturated fat and cholesterol content.
While the science is not entirely clear yet on how many eggs people should eat, it is believed that they can be eaten as part of a healthy, balanced diet.
In fact, a 2016 study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition revealed that eating one egg a day was not associated with an increase in heart risks.

But, research has shown that for most people, cholesterol in food has a much smaller effect on blood levels of total cholesterol and harmful LDL cholesterol than does the mix of fats in the diet.
But, individuals who have difficulty controlling their total and LDL cholesterol should be cautious about eating egg yolks.
