Dharamshala: Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh was hospitalised in the wee hours on Monday after he complained of fever and severe chest congestion.
Singh was admitted to IG Medical College in Shimla around 1.30 AM where his condition is stated to be stable now, the hospital's Senior Superintendent Dr Ramesh said, adding the chief minister is kept under observation.
"All the tests are normal and he is stable. He is being kept under observation," the doctor said.
State Governor Acharya Dev Vrat visited the hospital in the morning to inquire about Singh's health.
