New Delhi: The three-day Directors-General of Police (DGP) Conference is all set to commence today at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy in Hyderabad and will witness the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Police chiefs from all states and Union territories as well as heads of para-military forces will collect at the event with an agenda to discuss cross-border terrorism, radicalisation as well as police reforms.


The conference is organized by the Intelligence Bureau and will also have Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in attendance, along with ministers of state for home Kiren Rijiju and Hansraj Gangaram Ahir.


PM Modi will inaugurate the conference and attend the deliberations on November 25 and 26.
