Rapist blames 4-year-old girl for rape, says 'she approached me'

Hyderabad: At a time when a juvenile has been set free in the infamous rape case in Delhi, a minor is being blamed for getting raped in Hyderabad.

The appalling incident came into limelight when a 46-year-old man– accused of raping a 4-year-old– claimed that the child approached him and came close to him.

According to CNN IBN report, the paedophile, identified as Mohammad Akram Khan, has been arrested and a case has been registered at Police Station Shah Ali Banda under Section 377 IPC, 363 IPC, 366 IPC, 419 IPC, 534 (A)(1) (i) of Nirbhaya Act and Section 5 R/w 6 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences(POCSO) Act.

The incident was caught on CCTV installed in his house and the footage was recovered when a technician was taking a backup of the footage and raised the alarm.

The accused has admitted that he has made a mistake, but should be pardoned.
