New Delhi: Denying corruption charges against him, former finance minister P Chidambaram's son Karti Chidamabaram said that all his businesses are 'legally complaint'.
“All my businesses are legally compliant with regulatory and statutory requirements,” he said.
“I do not wish to state anything more than this,” he added.
AIADMK members today disrupted proceedings in both Houses of Parliament demanding action against Karti on the Aircel-Maxis issue.
Both, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha were adjourned multiple times over the issue.
As soon as the Lok Sabha met for the day, AIADMK members rushed to the Well raising slogans like “We want action”, “Aircel-Maxis, why delay, why delay” and “NDA sarkar take action.”
The issue came back into the limelight after an English daily claimed that Karti has invested in real estate across the world - as per investigations by the Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax authorities during searches at his premises.
