Jammu: A search operation was launched today by army and police in the R S Pura sector near the Indo-Pak International Border after they received reports of some suspicious movement in the area.

The operation, which continued during the day, was called off when nothing "concrete" was found, police said.


"Army received inputs of some suspicious movement in the R S Pura sector along the international border, after which a search operation was launched in the area," Station House officer (SHO) RS Pura Bhushan Singh Manhas said.
