Basant Panchmi: Whom do VHP men pray to in MP's disputed site Bhojshala, asks Digvijaya Singh

Bhopal: Amid a controversy over prayers by Hindus and Muslims at the Bhojshala in Dhar district of Madhya Pradesh, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh on Wednesday wondered who Vishva Hindu Parishad activists worshiped at the ancient shrine.

When there is no idol at the Bhojshala, who do the VHP supporters worship there, the former Madhya Pradesh chief minister wanted to know.

The Archaeological Survey of India, which looks after the only temple dedicated to goddess Saraswati and built by Raja Bhoj in 1034 AD, has made arrangements for Hindu prayers in the religious complex from sunrise till 12 noon and 'namaz' by Muslims from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m. on Basant Panchmi on February 12.

As for the disclosures by Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist-turned-approver David Coleman Headley in a Mumbai court, Digvijaya Singh told reporters here that many more sensational disclosures were yet to come from him in the November 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
