New Delhi: Absconding mafia don Rajendra Sadashiv Nikhalje alias Chhota Rajan, who was arrested in Indonesia on Sunday, was once used by the Intelligence Bureau and the Research Analysis Wing (RAW) against India's most wanted person and underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, a report said on Tuesday.
According to a report published in 'The Times of India', Rajan, the powerful aide-turned-rival of terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, was helpful in getting a few men of Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence killed.
It is being said that ISI mastermind Khalid Masood and Nepal MLA Dilshad Mirza Baig were eliminated with the help of Rajan.

Rajan helped the Indian security officials as he wanted himself to be portrayed as a 'patriotic Hindu don', the newspaper quoted some police officials as saying.
Rajan was also allegedly involved in the killing of Dawood aides Takiuddin Wahid Khan and Nepal cable operator Jamim Shah.
Once close aides, Dawood and Rajan parted ways after the 1993 Mumbai blasts and have been fierce rivals ever since. Rajan is wanted in about 20 murder cases.

In another sensational revelation, the newspaper reported that in 2005, Rajan had sent his two men - Vicky Malhotra and late Farid Tanasha - to kill Dawood during his daughter's Mahrook marriage function in Pakistan's port city Karachi.
The plan was to eliminate Dawood when he would visit the venue, where his daughter was getting married to Pakistani cricketer Javed Miandad's son.
However, the plan didn't work out as the Mumbai Crime Branch arrested the two and booked them under MCOCA.
