New Delhi: CISCE ISC Result 2016: The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will announce the CISCE ISC Results 2016 / CISCE 12th Result2016 on May 6 (Friday) at 3 pm.
Last year in 2015, the CISCE board has announced the ISC Result 2015 on 18 May. However, this year the board is announcing the CISCE Board Results 2016 early this time. The CISCE board is announcing there ISC Class 12th XII Results 2016 today. So, the wait of students who has appeared for CISCE board examination 2016 will be over soon. The students can check their CISCE Board ICSE Class 10th Result 2016 and ISC 12th Result 2016 today on board official website www.cisce.org.
The Indian School Certificate Examination has been designed as an examination, through the medium of English, as per the recommendations of the New Education Policy 1986. The responsibility of CISCE Board is to conduct the examinations, evaluate the performance of the candidates and publishing the CISCE Board Results on time.
During ISC Class 12th examinations 2015 a total of 71,141 candidates had appered for the exam.- 38,659 were boys and 32,482 were girls.
The pass percentage of ISC Result was 96.38% and girls outshone boys in the examinations.

The council was constituted to secure suitable representation of Government of India, State Governments/Union Territories in which there are Schools affiliated to the Council, the Inter-State Board for Anglo-Indian Education, the Association of Indian Universities, the Association of Heads of Anglo-Indian Schools, the Indian Public Schools' Conference, the Association of Schools for the ISC Examination and members co-opted by the Executive Committee of the Council.
The council conducts three examinations, namely, the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE –Class X), The Indian School Certificate (ISC - ClassXII) and the Certificate in Vocational Education (CVE - Year 12).
The subject choices and syllabuses prescribed for these examinations are varied and aimed at nurturing the unique gifts of individual pupils.
