New Delhi/Mumbai: The date of National Entrance Test (NET) exam, conducted by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), known as TISSNET has been announced.
The exam is scheduled to be held on January 9, 2016, for admissions to Masters in Social Work and various other Masters programmes offered in TISS campuses at Mumbai, Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, IMHST Chennai, MHAT Calicut and G-SET Ranchi.
The last date to apply online for the same is November 30, 2015.
The candidates can apply for a maximum of three programmes across any two of the TISS campuses and other location. Also, TISSNET scores are accepted only by TISS Mumbai.
The exam will be conducted at 39 centers.
Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification: The candidates interested in applying for this exam should possess a Bachelor's degree (minimum of 3 years duration) from a recognised university.Final year students can also apply for the programme.
Paper pattern
TISSNET is a computer-based entrance exam. Objective type questions will be asked on Social Sensitivity, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Ability and Knowledge on contemporary issues.
The duration of the exam is 100 minutes (1 hour and 40 minutes).
