New Delhi: The semi-naked body of a 24-year-old woman was found in the forested area of northwest Delhi's Bhalswa Dairy today.
The body was found in a semi-naked state, for which it is suspected that the woman was sexually assaulted before she was strangled to death, said police.
However, the cause and time of death and possibility of sexual assault can be confirmed only after the post mortem, said police.
The woman, who was identified as a student pursuing a vocational course in fashion designing, lived with her family at northwest Delhi's Mukandpur area, said police.

While the woman's brothers live in Saudi Arabia, her parents had gone to their native village in UP, said police.
When the woman's parents couldn't communicate with her for few hours, they informed the neighbours, who searched the locality.
And when they failed to find her, they reported the family's relatives in the city, whosoever they could communicate with, said police.
