New Delhi: Speculations are rife that Former BJP MP Navjot Singh Sidhu will be joining Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
Also, AAP may project Sidhu as the CM face for next year's Punjab Assembly elections, according to a report in TOI.
After the resignation of cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu from the Rajya Sabha on Monday, speculations were rife on his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu's resignation also as a Chief Parliamentary Secretary in Punjab.
Navjot Singh Sidhu on Monday had resigned from the Rajya Sabha.
Choosing the very first day of the Monsoon Session to resign, he went in person to meet Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari to tender his resignation. Later, Deputy Chairman P.J. Kurien announced in the house that Sidhu's resignation has been accepted.
