New Delhi: Calling him the "saviour of humanity”, fringe right-wing group Hindu Sena, Tuesday, celebrated Donald Trump's birthday at Jantar Mantar in the heart of the national capital.
The birthday celebrations saw members of the Hindu Sena, led by its chief Vishu Gupta, perform a havan to pray for the victory of the presumptive Republican nominee in the upcoming Presidential elections in the US.
They later sported birthday caps and cut a seven kg cake to the tunes of an orchestra.
Speaking on the occasion Vishu Gupta said, “Donald Trump is our hero. He is the only person in the world who showed the guts to openly declare his intention to end Islamic terror.”
Gupta said that Trump's hard position against Islamic terror is very important to India as well as the country has faced the brunt of this kind of terrorism.
“Only one man can save us all from this epidemic and that is him,” he said.
“Today is a big day, today the saviour of humanity was born,” he added.
Last month, the Hindu Sena had held prayers for Trump's victory in the Presidential race.
