IRCTC to offer `aam papad`, `hari mirch` and many more varieties of tea on trains
Now travelling by Indian Railways is going to be more joyful with availability of over 25 varieties of tea during the journey. According to the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation ( IRCTC ), these 25 varieties of tea can be further customised to over 12,000 ways according to the taste of passengers.

The diverse range of flavours varies from 'desi chai', 'aam papad chai' and 'hari mirch chai'. Apart from these unique combinations, kulhad chai, adrak tulsi chai and ginger lemon tea will also be available for the passengers.
The IRCTC has recently tied up with the leading tea cafe chain Chaayos to ensure the quality and variety of tea to the passengers during their journey.
IRCTC has also launched an app through which passengers can place their orders.
"Passengers can book their orders through app. On every e-catering orders of over Rs 300, passengers will cashback of 10 per cent,"said Arun Kumar Manocha, chairman, IRCTC.
Initially the facility will be available on trains at New Delhi railway station and later it will be extended to the stations across Delhi and Mumbai.
