Jamaat-ud-Dawa T-shirts recovered from terrorists killed by Army in J&K

The UN declared JuD-headed by 26/11 attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed a terrorist organisation and also individually designated Saeed as a terrorist in December 2008.

Srinagar: In yet another evidence of Pakistan continuing to aid, abet and sponsor terror in India, T-shirts bearing the name of Jamaat-ud-Dawa were recovered from the three terrorists, who were killed by the Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on December 03.

The T-shirts were recovered after three heavily-armed terrorists were last week eliminated when Army troops foiled a major infiltration bid along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of J&K.

The Army operation was launched when the infiltration bid was detected by surveillance devices and "alert" Army personnel.

The United Nations declared JuD-headed by 26/11 attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed a terrorist organisation and also individually designated Saeed as a terrorist in December 2008.

Saeed, who orchestrated the November, 2008, Mumbai terror attack in which 166 people were killed, roams around freely in Pakistan despite being a designated terrorist and has made many anti-India remarks and speeches.

According to Home Minister Rajnath Singh, "In 2013, there were 297 incidents of infiltration, which decreased to 10 in 2015. In 2014, there were 165 infiltrations."
