Chennai: DMK chief M Karunanidhi will appear before the Chennai court on January 18 in connection with a criminal defamation charge filed against him by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa.
Jayalalithaa had last year filed cases against Karunanidhi and the editor of Ananda Vikatan for allegedly publishing defamatory articles against her.
