BJP MP and Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti has questioned Congress chief Sonia Gandhi`s `silence` over Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) row.
Mathura: BJP MP and Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti has questioned Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's 'silence' over Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) row.
Raising doubts over Sonia Gandhi's 'silence', the BJP MP asked, "Why is she maintaining silence? Her silence reflects that there is some shortcoming."
Also, the BJP MP said that it was shameful of Rahul Gandhi to take side of a group that was trying to "revolt".
The Union minister of State for food processing said "stern action" should be taken against those who shouted anti-national slogans in JNU.
"Some people are trying to divide the country. They have also raised questions on patriotism of RSS. The patriotism of Sangh is unquestionable," she said.
