Kerala House beef row: Oommen Chandy thanks Arvind Kejriwal, Delhi CM assures action
Chandy has thanked Kejriwal and Banerjee for their support to Kerala during police raid at Kerala House
New Delhi: Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Wednesday thanked his Delhi and Kolkata counterparts Arvind Kejriwal and Mamata Banerjee for their support to the state during police raid at Kerala House.

Taking to Twitter, Chandy tweeted, “Thanks to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee for supporting Kerala during the Delhi Police raid at Kerala House.”
Acknowledging his greeting, Kejriwal responded by tweeting, “Divisional Commissioner of Delhi is also preparing a fact finding report. Delhi government will take strong action on that report.”
A political row broke out recently over Delhi Police entering the state-run Kerala House on a complaint that it serves beef.

However, dismissing the claims that beef was being served at the Kerala House canteen here, Kerala Chief Secretary said that police should have entered with permission.
