WATCH: 'Modi on fire' leaves Congress workers with burn injuries in Shimla

Shimla: In a rare tragedy, Congress workers on Monday suffered burn injuries while trying to set PM Narendra Modi's effigy on fire.

The said incident took place in Shimla where Congress workers had gathered to protest against the Narendra Modi government.

As the Congressmen tried to set PM Modi's effigy on fire, the effigy exploded leaving them and police officials deployed at the spot injured.

Himachal Pradesh's Congress unit had planned a demonstration against the National Herald issue.
