Patna: RJD chief Lalu Prasad's son Tej Pratap Yadav was asked to repeat his oath during swearing-in ceremony at Patna's Gandhi Maidan on Friday after he misread 'apekshit' (expected) as 'upekshit' (neglected).
Tej Pratap Yadav, Lalu Prasad's elder son, was interrupted by Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind and asked to repeat his oath after he misread 'apekshit' as 'upekshit' during the ceremony where Nitish Kumar took oath as Bihar CM for the fifth time.
"It's apekshit, not upekshit," the Bihar Governor told Tej Pratap.
Lalu's elder son Tejpratap had bagged Mahua seat by a considerable margin.
Prior to Tej Pratap, Lalu's younger son Tejashwi had also taken oath as a Bihar minister.
Lalu's RJD is the single largest party in the Bihar Assembly with 80 seats.
