"Pakistani security agency today apprehended three boats and 18 fishermen near Jakhau port off Gujarat coast in Arabian sea today," secretary of National Fishworkers' Forum (NFF) Manish Lodhari told PTI.

He said the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) apprehended them when the fishermen from Okha and Porbandar towns of Gujarat were sailing to catch fish.

On October 15, one fisherman from Gujarat was injured in the firing by PMSA. Around 24 fishermen along with their four boats were also apprehended the same day by Pakistani security agency near the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL).

That was the second incident of firing on fishermen from Gujarat within one month. Earlier on September 18, one fisherman from Okha port was killed in the firing near IMBL.
