PM Modi salutes Dr Ambedkar on Constitution Day

In a series of tweets on the occasion of first Constitution Day, PM Modi paid tributes to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar for contribution in drafting the Constitution of the country.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Thursday appealed people of India to uphold the ideals and values of our Constitution and create a country that would make our founding fathers very proud. 

In a series of tweets on the occasion of first Constitution Day, Modi also paid tributes to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar for his contribution in drafting the Constitution of the country. 

In October this year, while laying the foundation stone of Dr Ambedkar Memorial in Mumbai, Modi has announced to celebrate November 26 as the Constitution Day.
