New Delhi: Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday chaired a meeting to review border security.

However, there is no official word from the home ministry so far but media reports said that Rajnath Singh expressed concern over continued infiltration.


Also, it was reported that Rajnath Singh reviewing border security told BSF that accountability for infiltration and lapses on border must be fixed.


Noteworthy, the meeting came on the heels of Uri terror attack.


Heavily armed militants, suspected to be from Pakistan-based JeM, had stormed an army base in Uri in North Kashmir last Sunday.


18 soldiers were martyred in the attack.
