Terror attack ahead of Republic Day averted, 5 HuM terrorists arrested

A possible terror strike on security forces ahead of Republic Day was averted after five Harkat-ul-Mujahidden terrorists were arrested from Baramulla district today.

Jammu: A possible terror strike on security forces ahead of Republic Day was averted after Jammu and Kashmir police on Saturday arrested five Harkat-ul-Mujahidden terrorists from Baramulla district.

The Police busted the Harkat-ul-Mujahidden (HuM) module in Baramulla early morning today.

The investigation till now has revealed that the arrested terrorists were planning to launch an attack on security forces on the eve of Republic Day.
