RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat to share dais with Leonardo DiCaprio in UK: Reports

Founder of the Virgin Group Richard Branson is expected to share dais with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.

New Delhi: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat is likely to share stage with Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio and founder of the Virgin Group Richard Branson at a sangh event in July to mark the 50th anniversary of its foreign wing Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) in the United Kingdom, reports said on Friday.

Reports said that both DiCaprio and Branson have been invited by the RSS to attend the two-day ‘maha shivir’ being organised by HSS on July 30-31.

Besides Bhagwat, RSS general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale will attend the mega event.

The programme will be held at Hertfordshire County Show Ground and Hindus in large numbers are expected to attend the event.

During his visit to Britain, the RSS chief is expected to meet Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.

This will be Bhagwat's sixth visit to UK since he was appointed as the RSS chief.
