New Delhi: The security agencies responsible for guarding Delhi's Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport have a very serious yet unexplained problems – regular spotting of suspicious flying objects in and around the airport.

As per a report in The Hindustan Times, security at the sensitive airport has been put on high alert after officials at the Air Traffic Control saw unexplained flying objects.

The report says that the IAF had even pressed a helicopter into action to check out the UFO could not be traced.

Also, pilots flowing into the airport have complained of laser beams being directed at them from ground when the aircraft is second away from landing.

The lasers distract the pilot, endangering the lives of passengers and crew.

The HT report adds that a meeting of Intelligence Bureau, CISF, Bureau for Civil Aviation Security and Delhi Police had been conducted over the matter.
