New Delhi: Mumbai underworld don and one of India's most wanted, Chhota Rajan, has finally been nabbed after being on the run for decades. Rajan was arrested in Bali, Indonesia, reportedly on Sunday, upon his arrival from Australia.
However, there are varying versions of how and when Rajan was nabbed.
As per CNN-IBN, Rajan was first detained nearly 15 days ago.

Prior to his arrest in Indonesia, Rajan was tracked in Australia.
Since Rajan had an Interpol Red-Corner Notice issued against him, Australia was bound to take action against him. Canberra also, reportedly, had intelligence input suggesting an imminent attack on Rajan by Dawood Ibrahim's hit man Chhota Shakeel.
And, Australians were not open to the idea of a gangwar on their soil post Rajan's arrest.

Reports suggest that the Australian authorities got in touch with New Delhi and Indian intelligence agencies got an ailing Rajan aggree to surrender before Indian authorities in order to avoid future attacks on him.
A tacit understanding was reached between Indian and Australian agencies and Bali was chosen as the location where Rajan would surrender/arrested.

And, as per a report in Firstpost, India's National Security Advisor Ajit Kumar Doval played a key role in Rajan's 'surrender'.
Rajan, a one-time close confidante of India's most wanted terrorist Dawood Ibrahim, was wanted for heinous crimes ranging from murder to extortion and drug smuggling.
