New Delhi: BJP's Rajya Sabha MP and veteran journalist Chandra Mitra is in the eye of the storm!
The BJP MP is facing flak on Twitter and his name's hash tag is one of the top trends on Twitter on Tuesday as he got trolled by the Twitterati for calling them 'people having nothing better to do'.
Chandra Mitra while participating in a news debate show on TV had said that BJP's foreign policies are not decided by Twitterati.
"I don't think any government can actually frame its foreign policy on the basis of the Twitterati, which is hyperbolic at times," Chandra Mitra said in the news debate.
"People having nothing better to do express their opinions on various subjects," Chandan Mitra claimed about Twitterati.
Soon after the remark by Chandan Mitra, messages slamming him started flooding on Twitter.
Mitra's response had come when he was questioned on how BJP's Lok Sabha MP Anurag Thakur was abused by BJP supporters on Twitter for his opinion that BCCI should play cricket in SriLanka.
Here are some of the tweets shedding light on the matter:-
If BJP doesn't remove useless Chandan Mitra @DrChandanMitra from party immediately, I'll stop tweeting in support of BJP. @narendramodi
