Woman's body found in Noida's Sec 18 area near DLF Mall; ‘Shahida', 'Farooq' found written on hands in mehendi

Noida: In a shocking incident, a woman's body has been found in Sector 18 area (Atta Market region) near DLF Mall of India in Noida.

Acting on the information, Noida police reached the spot and took the dead body into custody. The body was found in a sack.

Police suspect that the woman was murdered as she had injury marks on her head. 

It has been reported that a piece of cloth was found thrust in her mouth.

Also, there was a strong smell of petrol emanating from the piece of cloth.

She wore 'mehndi' on her hands and ‘Shahida' and 'Farooq' were inscribed on it, media reports said.

According to SP Noida, Dinesh Yadav, "From the injuries on the body it seems it is a case of murder."

Police officials are investigating the matter to nab the culprits.
