"It is the government's responsibility to take concrete steps against people who do not have faith in the Constitution. In Kashmir, whichever government has been elected, it is their responsibility to protect the Constitution," said Singh while commenting on separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani's recent remark on the waiving of Pakistani flags in the state.

"Strict action should be taken against people like Geelani who do not have faith in it," he added.

Geelani had yesterday said that Pakistani flags will continue to be hoisted in Jammu and Kashmir, as the people of the state love that country.

"Pakistan is our benefactor. It is supporting the right of self determination to Kashmir. People here love Pakistan. The Pakistan flag is being hoisted in Kashmir since 1947. And it (Pakistan flag) would continue to be hoisted in future as well," Geelani said at a seminar held at his Hyderpora residence in Srinagar.
