Terrorist killed in encounter in J&K's Anantnag, search operation underway

Srinagar: An unidentified militant was killed in a gunbattle with security forces in South Kashmir's Anantnag district in the wee hours on Tuesday.

An encounter broke out at 4 am in Kokernag district.

A terrorist was killed and his identity is yet to be ascertained, police said.

Firing has stopped and a search operation is on in the area, they said.
