Kozhikode: The Communist Party of India (Marxist)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) won 47 seats, Congress-led United Democratic Front 20 and the Bharatiya Janata Party 7 seats in the Kozhikode Corporation.

Kozhikode went to panchayat polls in the first phase on November 2. The district registered voter turnout of 74%.
