Mumbai: The results of lucky draw of the 972 affordable homes provided by Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) were out on Wednesday.

The applicants can check the results on lottery.mhada.gov.in, mhada.ucast.in or mhada.maharashtra.gov.in


Approximately, 1.36 lakhs applicants are trying their luck for one of the 972 homes in the lottery.


The draw is being held at Rangsharda Auditorium at Bandra Reclamation in Mumbai.


The most expensive houses under the MHADA scheme are located at Shailendra Nagar, Dahisar, which are priced at Rs 83,86,000 with the carpet area of 78.47 square metres.


The cheapest houses available in the scheme are in Malvani, Malad. They have a carpet area of 16.72 square metres and are priced at Rs 8,17,000.


MHADA provides affordable housing to families belonging to various income groups. There are several schemes under which such flats are constructed and sold.
