Man kills wife with axe, walks on Pune streets with her severed head

Mumbai: In a shocking incident, a man was on Friday captured walking on a busy street of Pune with his wife's severed head. 

The 60-year-old man allegedly killed his wife with an axe and then walked down the busy lanes of Katraj area.

Ram Chavan alias Ramu was shockingly spotted on the road with his wife's head in his left hand and an axe in the right hand.

It is believed that Chavan, a security guard by profession, killed his 55-year-old wife as he suspected her of having an extra-marital affair.

Chavan has been arrested.
