Mumbai restaurant celebrates Salman Khan's “not guilty” moment

After Bollywood megastar Salman Khan was acquitted of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case, a restaurant in Mumbai celebrated the news in quite a unique way.

Mumbai: After Bollywood megastar Salman Khan was acquitted of all charges in the 2002 hit-and-run case, a restaurant in Mumbai celebrated the news in quite a unique way.

`Bhaijaanz`, the restaurant in Bandra (W) dedicated to 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' actor, offered their customers to pay just as much as they want for a meal, even if it's a small fraction of the bill.

According to iamin, Govind, the manager of the restaurant, said, "This offer is valid only for today. We came up with the concept because ‘giving’ is a true bhaijaan-like act. Since he was acquitted, we are having this deal in his honour."

The restaurant is the brain child of five friends - Zafar Sayed Yusuf, Rahul Kanal, Tabrez Shaikh, Sohail Siddique, and Kursheed Khan, who attended the same school as Salman. Everything in the restaurant is inspired by Salman and his life.

Even the menu contains items named after some of Salman's hit films.
