Mumbai: Graduates, post-graduates and M Phil degree holders are among the 2424 applicants vying for the job of 'Coolie' or 'Sahayak' in Maharashtra.
While nine M Phil degree and 9 post graduate diploma holders have applied for the post, 984 graduates have applied for the same.
Besides these, 109 Diploma and 253 PG degree holders have also applied for the fourth grade job.
While high school or equivalent pass outs comprise 605 candidates, 282 tenth pass have applied for the job.
Maharashtra LokSeva Ayog had issued the advertisement on December 2015.
To become a 'Sahayak', the minimum qualification required for an applicant is that he should be a class four pass out and well versed with the local language.
